Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides the public with a right of access to information held by public authorities, subject to some exemptions. As an organisation wholly owned by the Welsh Ministers, Transport for Wales is subject to the provisions of the Act.

Any person or organisation can request information held by Transport for Wales. It is intended that implementation of the Act will lead to a better understanding of how public bodies carry out their duties and the processes they follow when making decisions.
